This is the perfect solution to adding extra ports to your wall sockets. The RJ-ECON only works in pairs and only if they are connected to the same port number. Set up as follows
2 Devices CAT5 cables into Adapter, producing 1 connection – connect to Wall port in Room / Office
In-office where router exists, connect another Adapter and re-split to 2 cables then connect to Router/Modem/Switch..
They can not be used to split a port on the router to 2 connections for 2 PC’s, only 1 port would work.
